Race Ladder Rules
A race is stopped and the results are nullified if:
- A tank is caught in the starting gate post structure, which is the sculpture.
- A player is intentionally not racing and is being disruptive to the race participants.
- An AI tank is in the race.
- A player is using a tank that is not part of the TM 1.6 stock tank inventory.
- A player has significant lag at anytime during the race which is the fault of the server.
A race starts if:
- A minimum of 2 players are present at the start of the race.
The race results and times are official if:
- A minimum of 2 players are present at the end of the race.
Players are permitted to do the following within a race:
- One may go around the starting gate at the start of the race.
- One may choose any path to go to the next gate.
- One may join the race at anytime provided there are at least 2 players at the start.
- One may jockey for positions at the start of the race.
Players are not permitted to do the following within a race:
- Alt-k themselves, their results will be nullied for that race.
The start and end delays will be:
- The start delay will be 90 seconds.
- The end delay will be 30 seconds.
The official results will be taken:
- Immediately after the first player crosses the finish line.
- By anyone who is in the race.
- One needs to send the jpg results to me, 666, so that I may do the race tallies.
- Send jpg's to david@hallsted.net
- Remember to follow the rules listed here. If anyone needs help on how to take screen shots, just ICQ or email me.
The fastest lap time results will be taken:
- By any player that finishes the race.
- The results need to show their placing and their final lap time.
- They will need to take their own screen shot and send the results to david@hallsted.net
- A handy tutorial for reading the HUD time display and best lap times.
The results will be recorded by:
- A screen shot which will be posted for the place and lap time results.
- Killer's TM log scan program for the overall race time.
Points are awarded as follows:
- 1st place receives points equal to the number of players minus 1.
- 2nd place receives points equal to the number of players minus 2.
- 3rd place receives points equal to the number of players minus 3.
- 4th place receives points equal to the number of players minus 4 and so on.
The reward for a player when he/she reaches 100 points in the Ladder:
- One may choose a stock or modded weapon, to be added to the weapons used in the server.
- If one chooses to add a weapon, one must also choose a weapon for deletion, in the same weapon classification.
- The chosen weapon will need to be modified to behave similar to the other weapons.
- So.... the chosen weapon is subject to approval (and modification of course), please be reasonable.
- The weapon exchange will only happen once a month.
The results to be posted are:
- Current ladder status of players.
- Number of races entered.
- The overall number of times a person achieves the 100 point total.
- Best lap time per map, listing the player, date, and lap time.
- Overall race time per map, listing the player, date and race time.
The day and time of the weekly race are:
- Every Thursday all day.
- 666 will attend the 5 & 9 PM Pacific time slots to get race results.
- When you can get people to attend on Bam's server without AI's.
- Send screen shots to david@hallsted.net . Just follow the rules.
How many laps will be in the weekly race:
- Two laps will be used for the weekly races.
Flags that can be used are any flags from:
- The master flag pack or from the TM 1.6 game.
Tanks that can be used are:
- Stock tanks that are part of the TM 1.6 game.
